Our Environmental Services team performs essential work by ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients and visitors at Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC). CRMC serves 2.5 million people within 9 counties and is home to the only comprehensive Burn and Level I Trauma Center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. Responsibilities

In this role some of your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for department staff training and development.

• Implementation of customer service policies and recovery.

• Initiates performance improvement activities.

• In conjunction with communication from lead staff, conducts all employee formal development and administrative activities including, scheduling, progressive discipline, coaching, performance evaluations and hiring.

• Provides daily coordination and communication with the Director and Supervisory team concerning progress toward department and hospital goals.

Qualifications

Education• High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

Experience• 2 years of experience in Environmental Services required• Environmental Services experience in a hospital environment preferred• Experience as a Team Lead in Environmental Services preferred

Licenses and Certifications• CHEST - Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician by the Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE) required within 1 year of hire or transfer into position• T-CHEST - Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician Trainer by the Association for the Health Care Environment (AHE) preferred• DOT - Department of Transportation certification for Hazardous Waste Generator preferred
