Job Description:

Full-time, Days

Provides non-emergent medical transport for patients discharged from inpatient care to discharge destination. Utilizes necessary medical equipment to maintain patient care and status during transport. Safely delivers patients to discharge destination and communicates effectively between facilities. Provides emergent medical care when needed within BLS guidelines. Communicates with the medical care facility receiving the patient about the patient's condition, status, and arrival time.

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Emergency Medical Technician-Basic Certification by the Kentucky Board of EMS required

  • Valid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator's License required

  • Valid Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Association required

  • Other certifications and specialty training as required by the Kentucky Board of EMS

(Local candidates strongly preferred).</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</strong><br><br></p><ul> <li>Working closely with clients to document their losses for reimbursement (Data Packages/Project Worksheets)</li> <li>Reviewing complex documentation for missing hours, equipment, materials, etc.</li> <li>Assisting project managers or engineers in major segments of moderate to complex projects or tasks</li> <li>Participating in site visits/inspections</li> <li>Assist in quantifying losses/site – create detailed damage description of each site</li> <li>Document proposed scope of work required to restore site to its original condition</li> <li>Assist in gathering and processing documentation for grant/other reimbursement</li> <li>Travel as required by supervisor</li> <li>Conducting other duties which may arise from time to time and/or commensurate with the title and position</li> </ul><p><em><strong>CDR Maguire is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V.
