We have an immediate opportunity for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee all plant electrical systems, repairs, and improvement activities at Wisconsin Centrifugal. This Electrical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness of all electrical and electronic equipment.

Additionally, this Supervisor is responsible for all long-range planning for electrical projects and for the electrical portion of any other projects. This position has supervisory responsibility for all three shifts of electrical staff and will be directly involved in the selection, hiring, training and development of new personnel. Additional responsibilities include managing administrative programs that concern electrical systems and personnel. Also, will be responsible for oversight of contractors as needed, directing their activities to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of projects.


A strong electrical background, preferably an Electrical Engineering degree or 10+ years in a foundry or other industrial activity as an Electrical Supervisor. Electrical problem-solving skills and experience leading the trouble shooting and repair of electrical and electronic equipment is required.

Should have experience with controls, instrumentation, and electrical distribution systems. Project management experience would be a plus. Qualified candidates should have good communication and people skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.

The candidate must have the desire to learn all aspects of PCB design by working within a team of experienced designers and engineers utilizing Cadence and Valor tools Essential Responsibilities: Duties include (but are not limited to): 1. Produce drawings, layouts, and/or diagrams from sketches, existing drawings, electronic images, design concepts and/or verbal instructions 2. Work with Engineers to capture and produce a design that captures all product requirements for either new or existing products 3. Use computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs 4. Manage eCAD data from project creation to archival using multiple tools. 5. Collaborate in defining PCB design guidelines and procedures within a global team. 6. Participate in finding solutions to technical problems related to PCB layout and assembly. 7. Understand industry standards IPC, UL and IEC60601 for PCB fabrication and assembly. 8. Desire to earn IPC PCB Design Certification. 9. Master the ability to design in several disciplines: a) High-speed, constraint-driven, DDR3, DDR4. b) High power utilizing IEC60601 spacing constraints. c) RF design utilizing RF simulation output into circuit footprints. d) Coil and Flex designs 10. Establish design standards, procedures and techniques to produce high reliability products (such as Design for Manufacturability and Design for Testability) 11. Verify that all drawings convey accurate information 12. Ensure all necessary documentation is complete such as engineering prints, bills of materials, and related product specifications to allow successful transfer to manufacturing 13. Perform schematic capture duties such as maintenance of parts libraries and updating schematics or drawings in an organized and timely manner 14. Work directly with different business functions and team members to meet serviceability, functional and manufacturability requirements 15. May work on design projects that reduce the cost of the product, as well as, designing necessary equipment or fixtures that are needed during the new product development cycle or with installed base products 16. Maintain technical competency and remain current in technology and changes in the industry. 17. Comply with EHS regulations and policies Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Associate's Degree (or local equivalent) in Electronics, or a technical degree from a recognized CAD training facility (or local equivalent), or minimum of 2 years of design or drafting experience while possessing a high school degree/local equivalent 2. Demonstrated ability to design conceptual models by using computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software, as well as being able to perform design analysis 3. Ability to receive and transmit drawings electronically 4. Demonstrated computer skill in both Microsoft Office and with Computer Assisted Design software and equipment. 5. Demonstrated experience in gathering and defining customer requirements 6. Minimum one year of experience developing project plans and estimates and working with engineering teams 7.
