Supervisor DTA Specialist

The Community Group

The Community Group (TCG) is a private, nonprofit organization creating opportunities through education since 1970. TCG manages a range of programs, including a network of early childhood and out-of-school time programs, a network of charter and district public schools, consulting and training programs, and a child care resource and referral program, Child Care Circuit.

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

• Supervise the DTA Team of Family Specialists and be an active member of the Senior Team.

• Interview, train and supervise voucher staff;

• Perform monthly case reviews;

• Consolidates internal audit results;

• Perform Income Eligible administration;

• Answer parent questions;

• Answer provider questions;

• Coordinate voucher projects as needed;

• Update voucher training manual and forms;

• Administer DTA voucher caseload;

• See customers, write vouchers;

• Function as liaison with DTA staff and offices;

• Function as voucher troubleshooter; and

• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years working with voucher customer and/or voucher providers;

• Thoughtful and knowledgeable about voucher policies;

• Possess the ability to train others;

• Endless patience and strong interpersonal skills;

• Proven attention to detail;

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and

• Knowledge of computer systems is a plus.
