Supervisor, Division Order
The Division Order Analyst is responsible for the analysis of title opinions, land contracts, operating agreements, oil and gas leases, broker reports, curative, well and regulatory documents, conveyances, probate and inheritance data and other legal documents to determine ownership and lease burden relationships for production proceeds from oil and gas wells for crude oil purchasing company.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the Division Order department.
Ensure effective administration of title/division order activities relative to oil and/or gas production or other mineral producing properties.
Establish and maintain ownership records for persons legally entitled to the proceeds of oil and gas production through initial set up of the Master Ownership Division of Interest.
Determine working interests and burdens associated with interests based on title analysis of deeds, assignments, purchase & sale agreements, probate documents, leases and royalty agreements, pooling declarations, title opinions, and all associated documents.
Process all probate information and transfer documents from interest owners in order to maintain a correct division of interest and update system accordingly.
Maintain and correct divisions of interest when payouts and recompletions occur.
Act as liaison to Accounting, Marketing, and Operations departments.
Respond to interest owner inquiries representing the company with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
Perform calculations and prepare division orders for all owners legally entitled to the proceeds of oil and gas production.
Process all subsequent changes of the initial set-up of the Master Ownership Division of Interest.
Receive and respond to incoming customer calls by researching and resolving inquiries, complaints, issues, etc. in a timely manner.
Create the Division Orders (DO) in the Revenue Distribution System (RDS) application.
Approve changes made in RDS application as necessary.
Provide DO printouts to be sent via mail.
Defer questions and concerns to the Legal Department (e.g. legal reviews) as necessary.
Escalate issues to the Revenue Distribution Manager as necessary.
Responsible for decimal validations and conveyances.
Copy reporting manager on email correspondence, reports, and other important details being sent that could have a significant impact on the team or department.
Regular attendance at the worksite is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical skills to perform a series of analytical and revenue/royalty-related activities from initial well production through the life of the well.
Strong skill set required to review all legal title documents and be able to recognize, interpret, and understand the effects of their integrity and validity.
Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications with strong skill set in learning additional systems specific to this company is required.
Working knowledge of date-sensitive RDS system/ Wolfepak a plus.
Must possess strong problem solving skills.
Must possess a keen attention to detail.
Must demonstrate a high level of initiative to improve efficiencies.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
3 5 years of analytical experience is required; experience reviewing land title documents is preferred.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
NADOA and/or NALTA certification is a plus.
Negligible travel required.
