First level supervisory position responsible for managing the day to day activities of a team of Corporate Actions Professionals in the Corporate Actions unit. The team will be involved in the Facilitation of special events, document review, reconciliation and cosmos updates. Coordinate Corporate events, and research Corporate Actions related activities, including tenders, auctions, subscriptions, bankruptcies, redemptions, mergers, exchanges, escheatment and odd-lot programs by performing the following duties :

Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow
Assigns duties and examines work for conformance to policies and procedures
Reviews and revises current operating policies to improve efficiency
Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances
Facilitate special events including WEB related projects and assist in continuous improvement of CA rejects
Uses and maintains basic SCRIP macros for data processing
Researches and resolves problems related to specific corporate actions events to determine the root cause and propose corrective management actions
Coordinates with Projects and Events as required to support business unit activities
Reviews and approves preparations for new projects or clients
Other duties or tasks assigned by Management

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree(B.A) from a four college or University; or 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 plus years of direct supervisory experience
Directly supervises 4-12 employees in Corporate Actions Processing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
Ability to read/analyze/interpret business periodicals/ journals/technical procedures/gov. regulations; write reports/business correspondence/procedure manuals; effectively present information/respond to questions from managers/clients/customers/public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
