Manage the global ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) program and Desktop supply chain inventory. Manage vendor and Abbott site relationships.


  • Ensure control and compliance for desktop hardware assets.

  • Ensure desktop hardware inventory tool is maintained and accurate; escalate concerns/issues.

  • Ensure all sites have access to an ITAD vendor; resolve any gaps or audits needed.

  • Ensure vendor qualifications. If needed, perform audits of vendor facilities. Departmental EHS liaison

  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, business areas, and IT groups as required.

  • Direct supervision of resources.

  • Create/maintain program documentation and workflows; manage knowledge content and processes.

  • Provide metrics as needed.

  • Direct interface with audit response and information gathering in coordination for audit response.

  • Manage customer communication and resolve ITSM tickets.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree. No advanced degree required.

Minimum Experience:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience

Building and managing project teams, reporting to the respective Project Sponsors, and ensuring effective project management through the use of the appropriate project management tools. Project categories include International Program, Interventional Support Device Program, business process improvement, and new business opportunities that require Operations project management. The Operations Project Manager will generally lead larger / cross organizational efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Manage project development from initiation to closure * Be accountable for project results along with project sponsor * Work with respective project sponsor and stakeholders to develop effective project plans to include scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing * Complete work breakdown structure/ project work plan to estimate effort required * Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities * Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders * Facilitate project team and steering team meetings effectively * Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout project life * Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved * Determine if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete the project plan * Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to sponsor * Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis * Assist in the development of the Program Management Office * Other duties assigned by Operations Management Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required for Successful Job Performance: * Bachelor's degree in business or a related field * 1-2 years' work experience in project management * Experience and familiarity with Operations best practices is preferred * Business System experience in ERP and QMS is preferred * International experience is preferred * Ability to excel in a fast-pace environment with significant growth * Familiar with project management tools and/ or software packages * Experience leading and managing people * Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment * Effective management skills * Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities * Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills * Ability to elicit cooperation across departments * PMI certification a plus Specifications/Other * We are a fast growing company with lots of opportunities for growth * Normal office environment Cardiovascular Systems Inc Saint Paul MN
