Job Summary Under the direction of the Central Transport Director, the Supervisor/Educator is responsible for coordinating the activity of the Transporter/Couriers/Drivers, documenting and dispatching all incoming calls, scheduling, training, departmental orientation, and departmental education. The Supervisor/Educator provides supervision, leadership and direction for the transportation staff and assists in ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures relating to the department.

Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college coursework required. Associate#s degree preferred.

Experience Six months to one year of previous related healthcare experience and delegation responsibilities required. Two to four years of supervisory experience required.# Good driving record required. Knowledge of computers (data entry), basic typing, filing skills and delegation qualities preferred.

Experience in teaching and putting together education programs desirable.# Certified CPR Instructor preferred. Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Basic Heart Saver certification must be obtained within first month of employment for this position which will be required to back up the Transporter role during peak service times.
