Supervisor Casino Games/Dual Rate Manager - Full Time, Poker (Harrah's Atlantic City)

Immediately addresses service breakdowns and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Keeps team well informed of property promotions and events.

Develops highly skilled, successful employees, sets realistic and measurable service standards and holds employees accountable for meeting them. Clearly communicates and enforces company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, department goals and business strategy. Addresses employee performance issues, coaches for improvement and provides ongoing feedback.

Uses EOS data to improve the workplace, listens and responds to employees, recognizes and rewards individual and team performance. Consistently follows company policies, procedures and industry regulations, maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records, and completes performance reviews timely. The primary responsibility of this position will be to function as a Poker Pit Manager. When functioning as a Poker Pit Manager, shall be responsible for the direct supervision of all activities related to the operation and conduct of poker pursuant to N.J.A.C. 19:45-1.12(b)7. Endeavors to build new relationships and cultivate existing ones by positively, enthusiastically, and regularly engaging with customers while they play.

Deals with the difficult circumstances that arise on the gaming floor a constructive and business-like manner, balancing the interest of the customer, employee, and company. Takes responsibility for creating a casino environment that promotes luck and celebrates wins. Directly responsible for the achievement of CSA objectives and return visits of profitable customers.

Trains, monitors and evaluates performance of personnel to ensure smooth and efficient gaming operations. This position is directly responsible for the upbeat and friendly interaction of dealers and supervisors in the game area supervised. Acts as a host to guests and anticipates their needs.

Directly responsible for technical game speed and execution of detail by both dealers and supervisors. Responsible for ensuring that the right people are dealing and supervising on the right games by experience and game knowledge. Coordinates dealer and supervisor schedules and ensures that assigned pit is properly and sufficiently equipped.

Supervises opening and closing procedures. Employees will be evaluated periodically to determine suitability to continue in dual-rate functions. Participates in the supervision, operation and/or support of Harrah's multi-casino Bad Beat system.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of games and casino rules, procedures and regulations. Supervisory, organizational and communication skills. Direct dealing and supervisory experience with those games contained in assigned pit area.
