Job Summary:

The Cash Logistics Supervisor is responsible supervising the inside currency operation. This position ensures accountability and the security of all liability and prioritizes daily operations workflow. The Cash Supervisor assists the Cash Logistics Manager in the secure, safe and efficient functioning of the armored car facility.

This position functions in an armed environment. This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Brink's and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Brink's and its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first line supervision to Cash Logistics employees

  • Oversee daily cash operations including but not limited to deposit verification, change order preparation, inventory management, and opening and closing of branch and vault check in/out

  • Provide coaching and skill development to employees on a consistent basis

  • Create employee scheduling to support daily work load

  • Adhere to SLA performance and contract requeirement

  • Leverage systems, equipment and process redesign to drive continuous process improvement in quality and efficiency

  • Secure inventories by executing controls and ensuring strict quality compliance with security procedures

  • Ensure activities are performed in compliance with company policies and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations

  • Maintain accurate records, handle customer inquiries, and balance transactions daily

  • Processing support when needed

  • Maintain orderly and clean work areas, including all machines, tables, cabinets and storage areas

  • Assist Management as need to meet branch goals

  • Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years operations experience in a cash or vault processing environment

  • Minimum of 21 years of age

  • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms licensing

  • A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience in a production environment

  • Cash handling experience in the secure logistics or banking industry

  • Experience in a coin processing environment

  • Knowledge of lean/process improvement methodologies

  • Bachelor's Degree

No Operates a delivery vehicle and performs a variety of manual tasks and some clerical tasks for warehouse operations. Work involves responsibility for loading, unloading and delivering and/or picking-up materials, supplies, furniture, tools, equipment and related items to designated locations. Responsible for proper receipt, storage and control of such materials, supplies, furniture, tools, and equipment at the warehouse facility. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No 1. Fills requisition orders by counting out proper quantity of items and charges materials to work orders. Packs and checks orders to ensure all available stock is assembled for delivery. 2. Loads trucks with materials, equipment, tools, and supplies. 3. Transports, unloads, and delivers items to designated school and office locations. 4. Gives instructions to lower level warehouse workers assisting with deliveries. 5. Receives, unloads, unpacks, and stocks supplies, equipment and materials in their proper location. 6. Checks quantity and actual material against invoice, purchase order, or other documents supporting delivery. 7. Participates in periodic inventories. 8. Operates various equipment in moving stock (pallet jack, electric pallet jack, forklift, power tailgate). 9. Drives to various locations to gather recycling materials (cans, furniture, and used textbooks). 10. Travels to areas outside the county to pick-up donations for the school system. 11. Works with the Property Control Manager to deliver usable furniture and equipment after school administration makes selection. 12. Maintains vehicle in a clean and proper operating order. 13. Maintains storage sites in neat, clean and safe order. 14. Participates in the snow removal program. 15. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations and the precautions necessary to prevent accidents. * Knowledge of the operation of power industrial forklifts, pallet trucks and related equipment, including occupational hazards and safety precautions. * Ability to learn AACPS building and school locations and routes. * Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. * Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with diverse populations. * Ability to employ business technology tools as required of all AACPS employees, e.g. E-mail, obtaining relevant AACPS employee information through the AACPS Intranet, employing the electronic benefits enrollment tool and any other electronic tools implemented in the future. * Satisfactory score on any test required.
