Job Description:


  • Six months of supervisory or commensurate leadership experience.

  • One-year experience in guest-focused business (retail, restaurant, hospitality, etc.).

  • Working knowledge of all theatre crew functions.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Suite.

  • Demonstrated ability to listen, communicate, and work effectively with guests, associates, and supervisors in a fast paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and consistently achieve results through resources.


  • Coordinate and coach theatre crew to perform the "essential functions" of their positions.

  • Reinforce "Wardrobe 101" policy with theatre crew.

  • Observe theatre crew performance and provide feedback to management for discipline and performance evaluations.

  • Optimize theatre crew placement on a round-by-round basis.

  • Lead teams and consistently achieve results through resources.

  • Supervise, coach and coordinate theatre crew to execute and comply with Safe and Clean protocols.

  • Perform daily operational and administrative duties as assigned.

  • Oversee opening and closing procedures outside of operating hours (minus vault management).

  • May begin opening procedures and/or finalize closing procedures.

  • Provide access to vendors for repairs and deliveries outside of operating hours.

  • Assist management with floor operations.

  • Assign registers / distribute banks (box, concession, guest service, and arcade).

  • Supply change, as needed.

  • Maintain and reconcile floor safes.

  • Pull and count cash, cash equivalents, and coupons from individual drawers and enter results into computer system.

  • Prepare deposits and banks.

  • Accurately complete appropriate cash handling forms; maintain and balance cash handling fund.

  • Perform daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties.

  • Assist in the preparation of the theatre crew schedule with final weekly document approval from a manager.

  • Participate in the daily inventory processes.

  • Open tickets for system support issues and follow-up for resolution.

  • Resolve guest questions, concerns, and issues.

  • Research guest issues related to AMC Stubs and credit card refund authorizations.

  • Distribute and reconcile passes.

  • Listen, communicate, and work effectively with guests, associates, and supervisors in a fast-paced environment.

  • Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts to ensure timely performance of duties.

  • Uphold AMC's Business Practice Standards and ensure compliance with company programs.

  • Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Perform other duties as directed by management.


  • Provided by Theatre: AMC-issued shirt, black pants, black belt, and nametag.

  • Provided by Associate: Black shoes, socks.

The work environment has constantly changed and growing challenges.</p><p>SETD is seeking a creative and driven controls hardware/software engineer to join our team.</p><p><br><strong>Essential Duties</strong></p><p>The Controls Engineering Supervisor will provide technical support for the design, development, and implementation of automated manufacturing systems. This individual will be responsible for the technical engineering components of the quote, design, build, so that the project meets specifications and complies with customer expectations and internal SOW, Budgets and Timing, whether the activities are performed by inhouse personnel or contractors.<br><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><li> Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on customer speciation.</li><li> Develop electrical design, schematics and drawings in AutoCAD and E-Plan.</li><li> Provide technical support for equipment and panel build.</li><li> Responsible for project success whether project leader or as part of a project team.</li><li> Report job status to Project Manager and/or leadership team.</li><li> Interpret mechanical design drawings for electrical requirements.</li><li> Review supplier products for assembly components per specifications from customer.</li><li> Help establish new and maintain existing standards.</li><li> Develop electrical bill of materials.</li><li> Provide support at the power up phase for electrical systems.</li><li> Check quality of assemblers and technicians work and respond to inquiries during assembly.</li><li> Work with Sales Engineers to provide input with quote preparation as required.</li><li> Shared responsibility with Project Management for performance to budget and timing of the software project phase.</li><p>1919 Rossville Ave Chattanooga, TN 37408 tel: 423.825.4325 fax: 423.825.4326</p><li> Coach, train, mentor and provide technical guidance to the controls engineering staff.</li><li> Serve as an interface between the controls engineering team and other departments, project management/engineering and the customer.</li><li> Be responsible for the completeness of hardware/software design prior to power on, ensuring reduced debug project phases.</li><li> Be responsible for effective handoff and template design of software to the Validation Team.</li><li> Support Manufacturing and Service at the Debug and Installation Startup Phase.</li><li> Aid the customer and improve customer satisfaction.</li><li> Understand, design, implement and support all hardware/software programming related to PLC, HMI, Vision, motion control, and robotic applications.</li><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>Requires 5+ years of experience in the field of automation controls for the automotive industry</p><li> Hardware and Software experience with Rockwell and Siemens PLCs, or related controls engineering role.</li><li> Hardware design such as panel layout or industrial controls required.</li><li> Familiar with PLC’s and HMI hardware from Allen Bradley, Siemens and desirable Mitsubishi.</li><li> AutoCAD and E-Plan electrical experience necessary.</li><li> Familiarity with Industrial standards NEC, NFPA, UL, SCCR requirements, GCCH is a plus.</li><li> Software experience with Rockwell and/or Siemens PLC and HMI platforms, or related controls engineering role.</li><li> Experience interfacing with Fanuc and/or ABB robots, hands-on robotic programming and/or debug experience is preferred.</li><li> Motion Controls experience with different types of Servo Drives and Variable Frequency Drives.</li><li> Industrial Networks experience such as Ethernet I/P, Profibus, Profinet, Remote I/O.</li><li> Some plant floor experience required.</li><li> Experience interfacing with Cognex and/or Keyence vision systems, hands-on vision setup experience is preferred.</li><li> Organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, with strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><p><br></p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p><p>The Controls Engineering Supervisor will provide technical support and guidance to less experienced engineers for the design, development, and implementation.
