Apply today Job Description Do you have inordinate attention to detail, organizational skills, and initiative? The Remediation and Reclamation Operations Unit (RRO) in the Radiological Infrastructure and Operations (RIO) Subdivision is seeking a Superintendent to aid in the conservation of the Bettis site.

The successful candidate will work with other superintendents within the group to track, maintain, and correct deficiencies within and around the facilities on site.

The Superintendent will own 15-20 buildings, as well as a land zone, and will be responsible for its preservation. Training will be given to the successful candidate to obtain environmental hazard qualifications including but not limited to radiological, PCB, and asbestos. The Superintendent will be required to have extensive knowledge of their assigned areas and maintain records pertaining to them.

Basic to moderate computer skills will be a necessity for deficiency tracking purposes as well as entering TRIRIGA works requests. The Candidate will also be expected to participate as an active member on the Radiological Emergency Response Organization (RERO) team. The Senior Superintendent will be expected to perform a broader scope of work including maintaining larger, more involved facilities and mentoring Associate Superintendents.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; orAssociate's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, engineering or science related field and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; orBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, engineering or science related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
