InProduction is looking for talented individuals to join our company to help create and design solutions for high profile nationwide events. The ideal candidate would be able to provide accurate drawings for our sales staff using our drawing library of parts. These drawings would be provided to our customers, building officials and our technicians in the field. The preference would be for ca

Supervise installation and dismantling of equipment, including the erection and breakdown of scaffolds, ladders, walkways and handrails, floorings, etc. Oversee and enforce company safety standards. Oversee operations of multiple crews for projects.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of leadership experience in an industry with construction and scaffolding experience
  • Manage and direct the safe and efficient installation/removal of equipment in accordance with project specific plans and layouts
  • Study plans, blueprints, and equipment lists prior to on-site installation
  • Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
  • Oversee fall protection requirements while erecting / dismantling scaffolds
  • Ensures that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift
  • Supervise, train and evaluate the performance of assigned team; prepare and administer corrective actions as needed
  • Manage and direct the loading and unloading of equipment and materials form truck and vehicles
  • Budget management; organize and oversee costs and expenditures
  • Ensure the timely submittal and accuracy of crew sheets, time cards and job reports
  • Work with customers ensure full client satisfaction in relation to the quality of service and finished product within planned time schedules

Requirements

Location / Travel:

  • Extensive travel in the US 50% - 90% of the time on the road

Education:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree Preferred

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years overseeing the construction and dismantling of scaffolding.
  • Must be able to travel and be away from home for up to 90 days at a time.
  • Must have a current and valid drivers license.
  • The position requires a background check and drug screening
  • Valid Drivers License with a good driving record; must meet the requirements to operate company vehicles
  • Frequent travel in the US and possibly abroad
  • Tolerance for the physical demands of working outdoors for long hours
  • Must be able to work overtime
  • Must meet eligibility requirements to operate company vehicles
  • Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Computer and internet fluency
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Able to lift-up to 75Ibs
  • Bilingual (Spanish/ English) Preferred
  • Having a valid US Passport is a plus, but not required
  • OSHA training or certification is a plus

VIEW JOBS 9/29/2022 12:00:00 AM 2022-12-28T00:00 <p>Overview</p><p>Superintendent Job Description: Oversee all types of craft workers onsite on a fast paced construction project. <br><br> Primary duties will include leading construction crews and perform construction, rehabilitating highways, installing culverts, excavation activities, traffic control, and coordinating with miscellaneous subcontractors. This includes but is not limited to, clearing, grubbing, pavement planning, excavation, aggregate installation, asphalt, culvert installation, guardrail, signs, geotextile, swppp, traffic control, and striping.</p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p><p>� Reading plans and specifications, subcontractor contracts, shop drawings, submittals, and project schedules without supervision.</p><p>� Coordinate with owners rep, project managers, foreman, craft labor, and subcontractors to solve field problems.</p><p>� Use and understand survey equipment to establish and maintain vertical and horizontal control throughout construction.</p><p>� Understand and participate as an active member of health and safety program.</p><p>� Insure project and activities are completed in accordance with project specifications and plans.</p><p>� Able to manage both labor and equipment resources to ensure projects stay on schedule and under budget.</p><p>� Respectfully and effectively communicate with owner representatives, inspectors, architects, engineers and subcontractors.</p><p>� Supervise and perform duties and operation of tools of the trade in strict compliance with OSHA rules.</p><p>� Conduct safety meetings and perform JHAs when needed.</p><p>� Strong communication skills.</p><p>� Required onsite presence during construction activities.</p><p>� Additional duties as assigned.</p><p>Qualifications</p><p>Required Skills</p><p>� Must have comprehensive working knowledge of heavy civil construction with 10 + years of experience.</p><p>� Must be able to manage a jobsite with multiple employees and specialty trade subcontractors.</p><p>� Must be able to interpret specifications in blueprints, sketches, or plans to prepare project layout and determine necessary resources required.</p><p>� Must be able to plan resources and lead teams with both laborers and operators to complete projects in accordance with plans and specifications.</p><p>� Must have basic knowledge of related construction activities, i.e., surveying, cut/fill, excavation, borrow, aggregates, culvert installation, signs, striping, etc.</p><p>� Ability to operate basic construction equipment, such as forklifts and loaders.</p><p>� Good verbal and written communication skills.</p><p>� Ability to perform duties and operation of tools of the trade in strict compliance with OSHA rules.</p><p>� Not been terminated within the past 6 months of employment with UIC or its family of companies.</p><p>� Work well with in a team setting</p><p>� Must be able to have good motion of range for body and limbs</p><p>� Be able to reach in all directions</p><p>� Handle and manipulate objects and material</p><p>Required Experience:</p><p>� Min 10-15 years of Lead/General Foreman Experience in Heavy Highway Construction Projects.</p><p>� Must have comprehensive working knowledge of Heavy Highway Construction.</p><p>� Must possess and maintain current drivers license.</p><p>� Must have a punctual work history.</p><p>� Must have a high school diploma or Equivalent</p><p>� First Aid Certification</p><p>� OSHA-10 Certification This is a seasonal position, typically starting in April and ending in October Salary ranges from $115,000 to $145,000 depending on experience</p><p>#LI-WW1</p><br> Ukpeagvik Inupiat Corporation Boise ID
