Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Construction Superintendent Position Overview The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure progress and compliance with project timelines. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor force to meet project goals. Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations, including OSHA compliance.

Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications to manage project execution. Monitor project budgets and costs, ensuring financial targets are met. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of work.

Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers. Ensure compliance with construction codes and regulations relevant to the project. Qualifications Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in commercial construction.

Strong knowledge of construction site management procedures and safety protocols. Familiarity with construction regulations and codes. Proficient in construction management software such as Procore and Bluebeam is a plus.
