Superintendent (Advanced Industrial Projects - Lithium Batteries, Renewables, Chips)

Summary:

• Supervise the skilled trades, crews and manage onsite construction activities for a wide variety of large scale and cutting-edge industrial projects focused mostly in the Central Ohio and SW Kentucky regions.

• Project types - across a wide variety of industries and clients - range from:

• factories/production facilities,

• data centers,

• EV battery-related facilities,

• semiconductors,

• renewables,

• advanced manufacturing

• Collaborating with the Area Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineers, this role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Project, focusing on Safety, Production, and Profitability.

• Supervisory responsibilities, in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, include: planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Responsibilities may include assisting with interviewing and training employees.

• Any experience in various aspects of construction

• MEP, concrete, structural, earthwork - are strong pluses as we have a variety of specialized and generalist roles available.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage several Foreman; conducting work safely, productively, and focusing on quality.

• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for your crews.

• Assists the Project Manager in creating the Primavera P6 project schedule.

• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.

• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.

• Oversee costs associated with your work items.

• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and material needs for crews.

• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree or equivalent technical experience progressing through the ranks as a Journeyman to a Foreman to a Superintendent.

• 5+ years similar construction Field Management experience.

• Any experience in various aspects of construction

• MEP, concrete, structural, earthwork - are strong pluses as we have a variety of specialized and generalist roles available.

Skills and Abilities:

• Understand and lead company safety policies/standards.
