Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to work on projects in the Greater Los Angeles area.

If you are experienced in commercial re-roofing and new-roof installations we are the company for you. If you already have several years of commercial roofing experience as a Foreman and Superintendent and have a good work ethic and are dependable, we are looking for you!

• Major projects include the removal and installation of commercial roof systems in multiple locations in the Greater Los Angeles area.

• Ability to effectively assess the progress being made with the installation of TPO, PVC roof systems. Ability to efficiently have your team seam and detail Modified Bitumen and EPDM roof systems.

• Maintains a safe and legal work environment by following safety procedures, hazardous material restrictions, and building codes, having your teams using personal protective equipment and clothing, and following proper procedures for using commercial roofing equipment.

• Able to climb a 40′ ladder and work in extreme hot weather.

Skills/Qualifications

• Demonstrates proficiency and knowledge of roof construction and components. Understanding and knowledge of accepted manufacturer details. Willing to work with Foreman and the crew as their leader.

• Demonstrates an exceptional work ethic, quality focus, teamwork, willingness to learn, dependability with a quality attendance history, stable employment history and a positive work attitude through effective interaction with teams, co-workers, customers, and have respectful communication skills at all levels.

Requirements

• English fluency; Spanish is a plus

• Must have a current valid Driver's License and daily transportation.

• Must have OSHA 30-hour card.

• Must have the ability to manage and lead teams and have professional references.

• Must have a working knowledge of roof construction, project management and understanding the commercial roofing industry.

• Must be willing to perform strenuous work when needed.

• Must submit to a background check and pass pre-employment screening process inclusive of drug testing.
