Who We Are:
Waukegan Community Unit School District No. 60 serves nearly 17,000 students in preschool through grade 12 and is located halfway between Chicago, Illinois and Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan. Our District has one early learning center, 15 elementary schools, five middle schools and a high school program divided between two 9 12th grade campuses. The District encompasses portions of Waukegan, Beach Park and Park City.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Directly responsible to the Director of Operations and/or his designee.
The following general duties are typical but not necessarily all of the duties involved in this position. At any point, management reserves the right to modify general duties on this description.
Receive all materials purchased for schools.
Count and check condition of all cartons received.
Unpack, count and check condition of all materials received against packing list and Purchase Order
Record and send receiving slips to Business Office on all orders.
Prepare shortage and damaged goods reports as needed..
Break orders down to school orders and shelf stock
Pack and return all incorrect or damaged goods.
Pack all school orders and assist school drivers in loading.
Arrange orderly storage of all materials stocked in warehouse.
Receive all stock requisitions and fill for schools.
Receive and store all custodial supplies
Stamp and label all textbooks received.
Keep running inventory of books on hand.
Receive, sort and discard or stock, and redistribute all texts returned to warehouse.
Inventory other supplies as requested.
Notify Purchasing Agent of impending shortages of stocked supplies.
Maintain lights, and all custodial duties in warehouse.
Fill special rush orders brought in by Custodians and Principals
Assist Purchasing Agent in determining stock needs for next year.
Assist in deliveries as needed.
Any other duties as directed by the Director of Operations or his designee.
Must be in good health and able to perform all jobs assigned.
Computer skills are required.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Take direction from warehouse foreman.
Must be able to work harmoniously with others.
Must maintain a positive attitude and be willing to take direction from Operations staff.
Must adhere to the programs attendance policy
Special Considerations: Operations Management will maintain a zero-tolerance policy throughout the program at their discretion.
Additional Information: This program will run June 17, 2019 through August 2, 2019, 7 weeks total.
Compensation: $7.50 / hour, 8 hour day.
