The Custodial and Events Assistant is responsible for setting up tables, chairs and other equipment as needed for events held in the Student Center, minor maintenance, custodial tasks and assisting with major functions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of general cleaning techniques and safety.

• Must be able to stand, kneel, bend and reach, and not have a fear of heights.

• Ability to work well with customers with minimal supervision.

• Ability to complete tasks independently and with a team.

• Be able to identify resources and make independent decisions.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Enrolled part-time for either Summer 2024 AND/OR Fall 2024

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written skills.

• Familiarity with the Student Center and its operations is highly desirable.

• First aid and CPR certifications.
