If this sounds rewarding or exciting, we encourage you to attend one of the Department of Parks and Recreation's Seasonal career fairs. The process starts by completing this application. Next, visit one of our outstanding facilities to speak with hiring officials and possibly be interviewed at one of our hiring events. We offer a wide variety of positions that assist us in shaping Prince George's County and feed our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Some positions include, but are not limited to:

• Lifeguard, Swim Instructors, and other Aquatic related positions

• Access and Inclusion, Therapeutic Recreation, and other Disability Services staff

• Summer Camp Counselors

• Maintenance (Landscaping/Horticulture, Building Maintenance, Custodial)

• Coach/Instructor, Program Support staff, and other Youth & Countywide Sports positions

• Customer Service/Data Entry

• Seasonal Instructors (Fitness, Dance, Art, Swim, etc.)

• Special Event Staff

• Internships

These events will take place on the following dates and locations:

• Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Laurel-Beltsville Senior Activity Center (7120 Contee Rd, Laurel, MD 20707)from 10 am to 2 pm

• Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Southern Regional Technology and Recreation Complex (7007 Bock Rd, Fort Washington, MD 20744) from 10 am to 2 pm

• Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Prince George's County Sports and Learning Complex (8001 Sheriff Rd, Landover, MD 20785)from 10 am to 2 pm

Complete an application and select which job fairs you'll attend by answering the questions at the end of the application. You will also be signed up for alerts/updates, invitations to sign up for prescheduled onsite interviews, and other additional information related to these job fairs via email.
