POSITION: Summer School Math Clerk

Stevens Middle School

EFFECTIVE DATE: July 9, 2024 - August 8, 2024

SALARY: $20.83-$22.15 per hour

SCHEDULE: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

July 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, August 1, 6, 7, 8

QUALIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)

• Bilingual/Biliterate Spanish/English

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Grade 'C' or better on District administered Thurstone Employment Test

• Keyboarding accuracy at 45 wpm on district administered test

• Demonstrated exemplary customer service and responsiveness

• Computer skills/word processing, database and/or spreadsheet experience

• Experience with Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and on own initiative with minimum of supervision and with

many interruptions

• Must work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality

• Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record

• Excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar skills

• Ability to establish and maintain a tactful cooperative working relationship

• Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures

• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with staff, students, and patrons

• Ability to follow supervisory directions and employ personal initiative when necessary

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Must be available for all hours and days
