POSITION: Summer School Math Clerk
Stevens Middle School
EFFECTIVE DATE: July 9, 2024 - August 8, 2024
SALARY: $20.83-$22.15 per hour
SCHEDULE: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
July 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31, August 1, 6, 7, 8
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
Bilingual/Biliterate Spanish/English
High School Diploma or equivalent
Grade 'C' or better on District administered Thurstone Employment Test
Keyboarding accuracy at 45 wpm on district administered test
Demonstrated exemplary customer service and responsiveness
Computer skills/word processing, database and/or spreadsheet experience
Experience with Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and on own initiative with minimum of supervision and with
many interruptions
Must work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality
Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record
Excellent spelling, punctuation and grammar skills
Ability to establish and maintain a tactful cooperative working relationship
Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with staff, students, and patrons
Ability to follow supervisory directions and employ personal initiative when necessary
Excellent organization and communication skills
Must be available for all hours and days
