ANNOUNCEMENT OF SUMMER SCHOOL VACANCY

POSITION: Related Arts Teachers, Robert Bland Middle School - Art,

(Teachers hired contingent upon number of students enrolling in summer program)

LOCATION: Lewis County High School

REPORTS TO: Summer School Coordinator, Building Administrator, and/or

County Supervisor

CERTIFICATION: Valid WV Teaching Certificate , Art 6-8

SALARY: $250.00 per day

TERM: AS NEEDED

Program runs from June 12, 2024 - July 15, 2024 (excluding June 14, 2024)

Mandatory meeting June 12, 2024

• The legal holiday of June 20, 2024 and July 4, 2024 is specifically excluded from the term of this contract and will not be compensated

DUTIES: 1. Plans and uses appropriate instructional strategies,

activities, materials, and equipment that reflect

understanding of the learning styles and needs of assigned students

2.Maintain positive communication with parents on at least

a weekly basis

3.Continuously evaluate the progress of students

4.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors

and/or summer school coordinators

• A mandatory meeting will be scheduled with the Summer School Coordinator
