JOB TITLE: Summer School Elementary Reading/Math Teacher (3 Positions)

NOTE: Position is contingent upon sufficient enrollment to justify the program as determined by the Superintendent.

LOCATION: Anna Jarvis Elementary School

TIME: TBD

TO WHOM ACCOUNTABLE: Director of Curriculum

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Elementary School teaching certificate

• Computer skills preferred

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meet with Summer Programming staff to review data, determine grouping, appropriate pathways to effective instruction in areas of need.

• Keep weekly lesson plans and anecdotal records on individual students

• Provide intensive reading and/or math intervention instruction based on student needs, i.e., GSA, Benchmarking, Informal Reading Assessments, i-Ready.

• Administer i-Ready pre and post assessments to individual students.

• Prepare lessons based on student needs as determined by data.

• Fill vacant slots if students discontinue tutoring, using the prioritized student list

EMPLOYMENT: Four days/June (tbd); July 8-August 1, 2024

RATE OF PAY: Daily Rate

FUNDING SOURCE: ARP
