Middle School MOBY MAX COMPUTER ONLINE LAB Teacher

Summer School Dates: June 12 July 17, 2019

INTERNAL POSTING

Open to current FUSD employees only.

(Substitute Teachers and Substitute Aides are not eligible for In-District postings)

Duties:

  • Monitor and assist students with the on-line courses.

  • Create student log-in as needed and assign registered courses.

  • Track students as they progress in their registered coursework.

  • Contact parent/guardian when necessary if student is not progressing in a timely manner to complete coursework.

  • Troubleshoot issues students may have.

  • Enforce the rule that students are not allowed to use CELL PHONES during class and no internet searching or game playing.

  • Follow Student Attendance Guidelines for Summer School.

  • Provide FINAL student grades to Summer School Coordinator via email by July 19, 2019.

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona Certification.

  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.

  • Experience working in computer lab with students.

  • Experience with Moby Max On-line program or equivalent on-line program.

  • Must have strong computer skills.

  • Must be able to teach program daily to ensure student success in the summer school program as it is difficult to obtain a substitute during the summer time.

Salary:

  • $29.80/hour working 7 hours daily. $4,172.00 Stipend.

  • Monday Thursday 7:30 AM 3:00 PM. (6 hours instruction, 1 hour prep)

  • June 12 July 17, 2019. (Closed July 4, 2019 Holiday)

Class Schedule:

  • Offer two classes:

  • 8:00 11:00 AM

  • 11:30 AM 2:30 PM

  • Student enrolls in one session and able to take 1 credit per session.

  • Moby Max is a middle school credit recovery program and students earn replacement grade.

  • Location at Sinagua Middle School and position reports to Summer School Administrator and Coordinator.
