How you'll be there for students:

Be their advocate, shining star, and mentor.

• In-person instruction at St. Peter Claver Catholic School in Macon, GA

• Part-time schedule, Monday-Friday

• 6:45am-1:00pm or

• 12:00pm-6:00pm

• Small group intervention (Tier 2) in Reading, Math, and STEM

• Working with students K-8th

• Facilitate the implementation of academic instructional programs, class work, and assessments for students.

• Maintain program instructional materials and computer lab components.

• Conduct attendance and program tracking and reports.

• Monitor students' computer use and behavior to keep them on task.

• Foster a positive classroom environment as you maintain the confidentiality of students and families.

• Other essential responsibilities as assigned

What we'll need from you:

The positive, enthusiastic assistant teacher we seek has these qualifications.

• Associate's degree required

• T-2 Teaching Certification preferred

• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.

• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals.

• Knowledge of computer software and Microsoft Office experience.
