Our dynamic marketing/advertising agency is looking for an intern to assist the Account Team with managing of clients from a public relations and digital media perspective. The intern will assist with various public relations tasks and event execution for AMPs Dunkin account throughout the Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. Tasks related to various media markets throughout the country will also be assigned to the intern.

The ideal candidate is a university student or recent graduate who is studying for or received a degree in PR/Marketing/Advertising/ and is looking to learn with a strong interest in digital media.

AMP is looking for someone who is an exceptional writer, highly proficient in multiple social media platforms, enthusiastic and is ready to hit the ground running. The intern will work in our Washington, D.C. office at 800 Maine Avenue SW. Our work place is relaxed with a fun team to work with and learn

Must work in office 5 days a week from 9:00 AM to 5:30
Location: Conshohocken, PA

Start date: May 2019

Compensation: $60 PER day + class credit (if applicable), out of pocket expenses are paid.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on communications initiatives, content development, marketing, and other HR projects in a global business enviornment. This is a fast-paced, diverse role and will include project management, writing and editing, and content development. This position reports to the Manager of Global Internal Communications and is expected to run from May to August working regular business hours from 8:30am – 5:00pm. Responsibilities: * Source and write Quaker Chemical news and internal promotional content for internal distribution, using various platforms (both print and electronic). Distribution platforms may include: Intranet, email, digital magazines, videos, digital signage, town halls, webcasts, social media, etc. * Capture and update supporting materials as needed (i.e. photo, video, other) to ensure brand consistency and professionalism. * Edit/proofread communication materials, prepared by others, for final publishing. This could include articles, case studies, internal promotional messaging, and organizational announcements. * Navigate and build internal networks, across business lines and regions, to gather Quaker Chemical news and information from subject matter experts. * Assist with management of company editorial calendar and measure against defined content objectives. * Work with channel owners from around the globe, creating and managing production schedules, writing/editing stories, handling production (basic layout and design), and assisting with final distribution. * Support the internal communication campaign needs of various corporate initiatives. * Support may include project planning, content development, writing, production/distribution, and vendor management. Note: some end products are produced in multiple languages. * Additional HR projects may be assigned. Qualifications: * A 4-year college junior or senior working towards a bachelor's degree in communications, HR, marketing, journalism, or a similar field. * Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills along with strong attention to detail. * Demonstrate an ability to write and edit business communications and condense complex/lengthy information into summary paragraphs. * Demonstrate project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at one time, understand priorities, and meet deadlines. * Strong computer skills, including the MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Photoshop. * Graphic design software experience is a big plus! * Previous experience with content management systems, preferred. * Ability to be a self-starter and able to work independently, yet take direction from others and work collaboratively. * Experience networking within an organization to find needed resources and build strong relationships virtually. * A creative thinker with a sincere interest in other cultures.
