Dell organization is looking for passionate interns with strong analytical skills to join our one of our many areas of hiring, including

  • Finance /Accounting (analysis)
  • Marketing (field & Prod mktg)

  • Non-Tech Prog Mgmt (GSLDP)

In this role, you will work in a high-performing team of employees, who work on innovative projects and provide solutions to our customer's most complex issues.

You will have an opportunity to provide analytical and statistical support within a functional organization requiring interfacing with a broad range of cross-functional positions. Ensures effective communication between technical and non-technical functions. Keeps management informed of key issues and changes, which may impact expected business results. Maintains awareness of trends, business conditions and internal processes that may impact business results, initiatives, or program deliverables.

Responsibilities * Support Director of BU Finance leading daily/weekly/monthly reporting rhythm of key indicators and analytics. * Create financial models supporting Discovery & Analytical Sciences (DAS) product lines to analyze Orders & revenue performance, pricing optimization and product profit margins. * Prepare detailed budgets and forecasts analysis, including revenue, profit margin & operating expenses. * Create and develop dashboard and KPI's in support of business objectives in Spotfire and * Support operational financial reporting for the CFO of DAS * Participate, as needed, in process improvement initiatives across businesses focused on improving forecast accuracy, aligning production with demand, NPI impact & selling effectiveness. * Presentation of business data to Senior Management in a clear, concise way using graphical representations to focus attention on key drivers, opportunities and risks Qualifications * Eager to learn * Student going into their Junior or Senior year with a major in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Entrepreneurship is required. * Interested in working in a fun & friendly atmosphere supporting a high growth software business division of a S&P 500 Company. * Strong Analytical skills and detail oriented * Well-developed problem-solving capabilities are essential. * Excellent written, verbal and visual presentation communication skills are desired. * Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, Excel, Power Point and Word. * Experience with SAP, Hyperion, or Business Objects a plus. * $15-20 an hour based on experience / 40 hour work week.
