Position Summary:

SiriusXM +Pandora is seeking an intern interested in video production who want to gain experience in production management, production development, and post-production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Learn and assist with daily operations for radio show video production.

  • Work with production management and assist in video production logistics, production organization and execution of daily/weekly team goals.

  • Assist with metadata creation and metadata input.

  • Assist with quality control process of published videos.

  • Participate in team meetings and creative collaboration.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.

  • Current or previous enrollment in communications classes preferred.

  • Prior internship or working experience in radio/TV preferred.

  • Broadcast Communications or Video Production majors, preferred.

  • Experience with digital media systems a plus.

Requirements and General

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.

  • Strong interpersonal capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, energetic, independent and responsive to feedback.

  • Strong spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills.

  • Familiar with SiriusXM programming.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Technical Skills:

  • Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

  • Experience with Airtable software.

  • Ability to embrace and learn internal project management tools and systems.

As an intern, you will collaborate across teams and work with expert designers on a variety of projects. If you're creative, motivated, and highly articulate you've come to the right place! We look for designers who will bring self-initiative to projects and daily routine. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience with motion and interaction design software, i.e. AfterEffects Sketch, etc. is required. We seek designers with skills and experience across a range of media, including identity, print and interaction design. Responsibilities include: * Participate in conceptualization and with assistance, develop preliminary concepts in to refined comprehensive design solutions * Individually and as part of a team, develop preliminary concepts into refined, comprehensive, motion graphics to enhance visual systems * Assist in producing and coordinating design audits * Conduct background research on identity and create storyboards for projects * Bring to life brand stories through digital interaction, animation, and motion design * Assist in producing client presentations * Assist in gathering materials for case studies Qualifications: * Demonstrated creative ability through a strong design portfolio across a range of static, dynamic and interactive media * Demonstrate high quality/accuracy in design standards * Ability to apply basic educational principles to creative work * Strong proficiency in motion/film editing software such as After Effects and/or Cinema 4D * Advanced technical abilities in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and web prototyping software (i.e. Sketch) is a plus * Desire to learn more about the intersection of brand, innovation and design * Enthusiasm to work in close collaboration with brand strategists and designers to solve our client's toughest challenges * Strong organizational skills and an ability to set priorities and manage time * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas * Ability to constructively participate as part of a project team * Demonstrate a true passion for design and branding * An interest in interactive design is a plus * Desire to proactively seek constructive feedback * Willingness and enthusiasm toward extending knowledge about technology/media, production process, design applications and working methods The internship is a full-time paid position for a period of 16 weeks beginning in the summer for graduating seniors and rising seniors.
