Overview

  • Must have high school diploma or the equivalent as described by the department of public instruction.

  • Must be responsible and at least 18 years of age. Must be a good example and role model for those children who will be in your care during the ten week summer program. Must have a cooperative spirit that will listen and follow thru with instructions; as well as, be creative in the programming and social development of your group. Must be willing to participate in ALL activities, including, but not limited to Bible lessons and musical.

Responsibilities

Oversee your group of children, watch and maintain that they are safe and following camp rules.

  • Participate in physical and other activities that your group is involved in.

  • Supervise daily activates for your group and other children in the camp.

  • Maintain personal contact with families, through daily discussions with parents/guardians.

  • Promote church meeting and character building programs in the community by discussing TSA programs with those that may be not have a church or not in our other programs.

Summer Camp Center

  • Represent The Salvation Army in the community.

Maintain order during summer camp by establishing and enforcing rules relating to conduct and use of equipment and facilities. Help and assist the staff in organizing programs musical life lesson opening and/ or closing the Center.

Property

  • Help and protect all equipment and supplies in the TSA Summer Camp Center, including vending machines, sports equipment, tables, chairs, etc.

  • Will be responsible for regular cleaning and maintenance of the TSA Summer Camp Center, and any other building, facility, or area used.

RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Maintain good relationships with all staff.

  • Maintain close relationship with the Community Center Director to accomplish the vision and mission of The Salvation Army.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

The Community Center Director will be the direct supervisor for this position.

Qualifications

Have a clear understanding of the ministry of The Salvation Army and be willing to support its mission. This includes allowing your work, actions, and dress, to reflect the values and professionalism of The Salvation Army.

  • Have strong organization skills and the ability to follow through on assignments.

  • Must be self-motivated.

  • Must be certified in Early child care education or complete Introduction to the Child Care Profession course

  • Report any suspected child abuse or neglect to Child Protective Services.

  • Complete Safe from Harm training.

  • Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.

Location: 6970 S. 6th Street, Oak Creek Hours: Part-time, varies based on staffing schedule business needs, weekends and holidays PM Shift hours 4 p.m. - mid-night/closing. Job Summary Position Summary: The Customer Service Representative (CSR) performs all functions of the customer service operations area, as listed below. These functions primarily are providing quotes for transportation fares, taking telephone reservations in the office and providing on-site face-to-face customer service at our GO Riteway Transportation booth at the General Mitchell International Airport. The CSR may also do appropriate outbound calling to follow up and confirm trip details, as well as respond to customer concerns and service issues. The CSR may also be assigned special projects by management staff or asked to assist with clerical/administrative tasks for office staff as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and customer-focused individuals whose responsibilities will include: * Taking inbound calls and book customer reservations accurately and efficiently in the Hudson computer system. * Make outbound calls to confirm reservations, inform customers of changes to their reservations and to follow up on reservations as needed. * Provide friendly, accurate service to all GO Riteway customers both on the phone and in person at the airport booth. * Resolve customer concerns to the satisfaction of both the customer and the company. * Supporting customer sales team as needed with inbound and outbound calls. * Other duties as assigned by management staff. General Qualifications: * Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a customer sales and service role. Call center or phone sales experience preferred. * Demonstrated computer proficiency and social media. * Ability to use oral, written and listening skills to communicate and clearly convey information to others. * Demonstrated ability to work well with others collaboratively in a team environment. * Troubleshoots and resolves issues quickly and effectively to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction. * Ability to handle multiple tasks, organize and prioritize workload. * Attentive to detail. Desired Qualifications: * Experience in transportation (people/customer service) and/or travel industry. * Familiarity with computer programs for the transportation industry.
