As a camp counselor, you'll spend your days engaging with campers in a variety of games, crafts, and activities, facilitating friendships and personal growth among the children. You'll create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, and free to be themselves.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be 15 years or older at time of hire.

  • Graduation from High School or GED equivalent; or currently enrolled in school and on track for graduation.

  • Ability to lift and carry equipment, and/or supplies required for the assigned activity - up to 50 pounds.

  • Must attend mandatory Staff training June 4 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM at the Santo Community Center.

Available Schedule:

  • Minimum of 30 hours per week from June 10 - August 23, 2024
  • Camp hours are 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

The anticipated hiring range for the Recreation Leader Iposition is $14.50(first step) to $15.23(second).Directly related experience and qualifications will be evaluated alongside others who perform work of comparable character as required by Pay Equity Law. Threesteps are included in this salary range, allowing opportunity for annual movement through the steps.
