The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Summer Camp Teachers & Counselors to deliver our Legendary Summer Camp to school-aged children 5 to 12 years old. Have a blast on field trips and during hand-on activities and experiences! We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you. Positions available in Ballantyne.

We are one of the largest early education and childcare companies in the United States, operating more than 100 schools in 8 states. Pay range: $17- $21 per hour, based on experience & education.

Summer Camp Teacher Responsibilities:Summer camp staff supervise young campers and make sure they learn and have fun, while staying safe.

• Plan outdoor activities or sports for groups of campers.
• Lead recreational and educational activities, such as swimming or crafting.
• Educate campers through games and explorations.
• Make sure all safety rules are followed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous licensed childcare experience required, preferably with school-aged children.
• BSAC preferred.
