Clackamas Community College (CCC) seeks to hire part-time Summer Camp Assistant positions. We are interested in finding the best candidate for the job, and candidates that may be from a less traditional background.

Camp Assistantwill support summer camp instructors with hands-on activities and general supervision of high school students participating in the camps. Duties may include inventory of materials, guiding/helping students one-on-one or in small groups with activities, and assisting instructors with set-up and clean-up of camp activities.
Summer Camps for one week, August 12-16, 2024, The work schedule will be Monday-Friday, 8:30a.m. - 3:30p.m.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach, and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility including the ability to move materials weighing up to 5 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc. and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required more than 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computers and other standard office equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Usual classroom working conditions. The noise level in the work area is typical of most classroom environments with interruptions and background noises.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision of other personnel is not a typical function assigned to this position.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works under the general direction of the Director of the Office of Education Partnerships.
