SPECIALIST: SCIENCE LAB ASSISTANT

BERGEN COUNTY ACADEMIES

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field - preferred.

• County Substitute Certificate - preferred.

• Experience working in Science Lab.

• Assist in the research, preparation of demonstrations and experiments as directed by faculty/department in order to ensure a safe environment.

• Familiar with basic biology and chemistry laboratory procedures such as solution, preparation, sterile technique and cell culture.

• New Jersey residency required within one (1) year from date of hire.
