Job Description:

The DC Operations Analyst Intern is a key role to our operations. This role will have key interactions with the DC Operations team. This intern will report to our Braselton, Georgia location.

Candidates must live within a commutable distance to our Braselton, Georgia facility.

Responsibilities:

• Develop reporting toolset to clearly communicate operational metrics to DC locations and cross functional partners.

• Prepare and report daily performance metrics and communicate gaps to Operations.

• Develop an understanding of workflows in and out of the DC. Additional factors to be considered will be to understand route codes, operational cycle times, start times, operational and labor planning.

• Evaluate operational performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and performance.

• Analyze data sets to identify trends, report on findings and make recommendations for improvement.

• Work closely with DC operations to standardize reporting; ensure metrics are consistently and accurately reported.

• Develop and maintain models to analyze customer orders and capacity requirements.

• Make recommendations based on analysis of metrics or changes to models.

Education & Experience:

• The intern's success will be determined based on how they take all of the order detail and labor factors into account, and identify how Kichler can better support the on-time shipment of customer orders.

Hiring Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
