RSU5 is seeking caring, enthusiastic and energetic teaching support staff for our Summer 2024 Extended School Year (ESY) Program. The ESY program serves eligible students with academic, cognitive, social-emotional and/or adaptive needs, who require an extended program to support maintenance of skills and prevent regression.

Responsibilities include assisting the teacher in providing specially designed instruction related to IEP goals, assisting with data collection, classroom management, helping students with academic, social-emotional and adaptive skills.

ESY will run July 8 - August 1, 2024

Monday through Thursday

8:30 - 3:30

ESY Programs

Specialized Program

• Freeport Middle School 6-8 / Freeport High School 9-12

Specialized Program

• Morse Street School K-2 / Mast Landing School 3-5

Requirements:

Must hold a valid Ed Tech certification from Maine Dept. of Education.

Positions will remain open until suitable candidates are found.
