Must have completed at least 30 hours of college coursework
Maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher
Currently enrolled as a full time student
Have reached the age of 18 years old
May be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance based on position, access requirements and essential job functions

The intern will develop an understanding of their assigned Human Resouces & Communications business unit, as it relates to its functional purpose and will learn standard work, strategies, philosophies, programs and initiatives within the organanization.

Example duties include:
Become familiar with the TVA business, organization, key decision makers, HR&C processes and procedures. The intern will have the opportunity to interact with leaders and team members while learning the key components that drive their business unit's strategic direction.
Develop working knowledge of critical HR&C functions as outlined by the intern's manager and business unit.
Learn to apply policies and procedures across the organizations: recommend continuous improvement changes in support of business needs and proactively develop an understanding of policies, procedures, and culture and communcate these to new and existing employees.
Seeking majors in Human Resources, Marketing, IO-Psych, Business Analytics, Communications, Manamagement, Business Administration or other similar closey related majors
Position Locations: Positions are located throughout the TN Valley region which include, but are not limited to Chattanooga & Knoxville. Virtual options available.
