In the role of Engineering Intern, you will be assigned to a specific functional area within our Engineering organization and will provide support to various functions within and outside Engineering while developing your professional skills, gaining valuable experience, and making meaningful connections. Some of the areas where interns have been placed in the past include: Engineering technical design, drawing and document management, HMI/PLC programming, project start-up, etc.
This role will be located in either Kansas City, KS or Zumbrota, MN, and will report directly to a member of the function you will support, while working closely with engineering leadership and an intern mentor throughout the summer.
You are pursuing relative 4-year degree (EE or ME major) and preferably have a GPA of 3.5 or higher
You have solid Excel and PowerPoint skills, CAD skill is preferable.
You have completed two years college classes by the time the internship program starts (approximately June 1, 2021)
You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of priorities.
You are confident and competent. You are diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent relationships
