Job Summary:

The Analytics Intern will become intimately familiar with our various digital products including Marvel branded publishing apps and Marvel's overall web presence. A key element of the position involves gathering performance metrics across all of Marvel's digital consumer touch points and reporting back to the manager team with actionable insights. Candidates should be comfortable building reports from large data sets and have a passion for data visualization.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Intelligence team with data exports and report configuring

  • Assist in the design and build of dashboards and reports

  • Assist in any analysis leading to actionable insights with regards to the performance of Marvel's digital properties

  • Assist in ensuring accuracy of all data by creating automated quality checks on both the data and final deliverable

  • Assist in the creation of presentations in a visual and compelling manner

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel a plus; vlookups, pivot tables, if statements, macros, etc.)

  • Strong communications skills

  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently

  • Attentive to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Resume must outline other internships, degrees earned, work experience, related clubs and organizations, current major course of study, expected graduation date and extracurricular activities.

  • Cover letter must include a personal introduction, and days/times available during internship period.

  • Preferred Junior or Senior-level standing

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Required Education

Must be enrolled in college or university, Data Analytics, Engineering, or Mathematics background preferred

Additional Information:

Internship Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization

  • All candidates must be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the session.

Program Dates: The internship will start in May - August with flexibility as needed based on academic calendars.

Housing & Transportation: This internship is located in New York, NY. All candidates must provide their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship.
