Keystone Powdered Metal Company has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer.

Core Responsibilities

• Represent Quality Assurance in Advanced Product Quality Planning activities, working closely with other departments, customers, suppliers and subcontractors on new product launches.

• Lead projects focused on quality improvements to drive manufacturing productivity, including scrap reduction, and continuous improvement.

• Act as liaison between customer and manufacturing/engineering on quality issues.

• Work with Purchasing to address supplier quality issues.

• Assist in the development and execution of training programs throughout the manufacturing and quality areas.

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills -

• Technical degree in a Quality or Engineering related discipline

• Customer-driven sense of urgency

• Ability to lead, train, and drive change

• Teamwork, presentation, project management, and verbal/written communication skills required

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Minitab
