Sugarloaf 45 North Food Server

Overview

Sugarloaf is looking for an outgoing and dependable team player to join our Food and Beverage team as a morning and/or evening Food Server for our signature 45 North location. The focus of this position is to complete all food service related tasks consistently, carefully, and systematically in a service friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests

• Inform guests of specials and menu changes

• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services

• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar

• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner

• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment

• Monitor and observe guest dining experiences. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests

• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable)

• Assist fellow servers as situations arise or as needed

• Assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables as needed

Qualifications

• must be 18 years old
• must either possess ServSafe certification or be able to obtain certification upon hire
• must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
