You'll be their go-to guru for preventing burnout and reigniting their reason for pursuing higher ed for themselves. Host live webinars & in-person events, lead campaigns through our Navigate system, & hold one-on-one and group sessions to help students untangle their internal narratives and guide them towards success. We need your ability to craft engaging content & reach students across various social media platforms. Your creativity and ability to resonate with diverse audiences will shine here. Your mission is to re-engage "almost graduates" and help them find their path to completion.

Summary of Responsibilities

Conducts outreach campaigns, counsels with college(s), and advises diverse, "at-risk" student populations regarding their academic plans, progress, and academic and career goals in order to assist students in making personal education decisions and meeting graduation requirements. Provides risk assessments and interprets student needs for assigned areas. Provides individualized service and assistance while maintaining confidentiality while focusing on student success.

Essential Functions

Provides student support with life skills development, identification and elimination of retention barriers and academic programs. Facilitates connections with campus and community services and resources when needed.

Provides support to assigned academic college(s) and faculty on program-specific strategic enrollment management and retention goals and initiatives.

Identifies specific student populations, conducts outreach campaigns and supports campus-wide retention initiatives.

Requirements

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in related field by hire date

Preferred Education

MS/MA Degree in related field.

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years of experience in graduate or professional advising or counseling experience with college students or related field

Preferred Experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency in connecting students with resources.

• Experience in creating content such as workshops and social media platforms.

• Confidence in speaking to students in person or virtually i.e. live webinars and asynchronous videos.

• Proficiency in utilizing reporting tools and executing effective outreach campaigns.

• Knowledge of providing personalized guidance to students through one-on-one support.

• Ability to provide customer service with front desk coverage and greeting visitors.

Salary Information
