POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Virtual Academy Principal or designee, this position promotes the use of technology and innovative approaches to virtual learning to support student achievement in grades TK-8.

The substitute virtual learning teacher is responsible for delivering the instructional program aligned to the state adopted standards and students' needs. Substitute Virtual Learning Teachers are expected to uphold the school's mission and shared values, philosophy, and policies and procedures.

NECESSARY MATERIALS FOR APPLICATION: Copy of Transcript (Unofficial copies of all college/university transcripts) Credential Copy (Proof of valid, current, and appropriate California teaching credential or Emergency Substitute Permit as a PDF print out from CTC (copy should reflect dates of issuance and expiration) English Learner Authorization (If not embedded in credential, provide a copy of CLAD, CTEL or equivalent) Letter of Introduction Letter(s) of Recommendation (Three (3) current, professional letters of recommendation (at least one from a direct supervisor)) Resume Test Results/Materials (Test Results/Materials, if applicable (CTC approved subject matter authorization exam scores such as the CSET, MSAT, NTE, CTEL, Praxis or equivalent))
