Queen Anne's County Public Schools ~ Substitute Teachers for the 2023-2024 School Year
Job Summary:
1.Follow lesson plans, assignments, and instructional materials via online application systems.
2.Maintains order and discipline in the classroom conducive to effective learning.
3.Takes all necessary safety precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
4.Creates a classroom environment that provides for student involvement in the learning process
5.Enables each student to achieve learning objectives.
6.Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1.Minimum qualification is an AA degree or 48 college credits or a passing score on the Parapro Exam.
2.Must be highly familiar with Technology- including able to navigate and use applications, email, google calendar.
3.Ability to speak and write effectively and correctly.
4.Indications of excellent human relations skills.
5.A drug test and background check are required. (This is done by QACPS HR during processing)
Pay: Based on degree and certification.
This is a part time non benefited position. Hours are not to exceed 29 per week
