Substitute Teacher - Music

To apply for the position of Substitute Teacher

• Music you must meet one of the minimum requirements below AND satisfy the basic skills requirement (e.g. CBEST or CSET Writing Skills or CSU Early Assessment Program or Qualifying Score on the SAT/ACT or College Board Advanced Placement or passage of Basic Skills from Another State or Requirement by Coursework):

• Multiple Subject Teaching credential w/EL authorization and supplementary authorization in music

• Single Subject Music credential w/EL authorization

In addition to the requirements above, you must complete the EdJoin application and upload the following documents:

• Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts will be required upon employment)
• Credential Copy (Detailed document from CTC [if applicable])
• Letter of Introduction (Addressed to: Dr. David Appling)
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (Signed Letters Required

• No more than 3)

• Resume

• Test Results/Materials (CBEST/BSR & MSAT/CSET & RICA [if applicable] )

Comments and Other Information

SALARY The daily salary ranges from $185-$205 daily. In addition to the daily rate, all long term assignments will add an additional $15.00 per day. All School Readiness Preschool Teacher assignments will add an additional $10.00 per day. BENEFITS Medical benefits are not offered to substitute staff.
