After School Substitute Teacher Key Roles: Implement program curriculum geared towards the needs of children Create a safe, caring, and engaging environment and be actively involved with children Serve as a role model to the children in the group through appearance and actions Assist students with homework Supervise students inside and on the playground Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies Follow instructions provided by the site director Requirements: Must have completed 60 college credit hours Must be able to pass criminal background check and fingerprinting Child care related education background is preferred Technology literacy and ability to learn new programs Ability to motivate and engage children and manage behavioral challenges Flexible scheduling Monday through Friday, must be available 2:00 PM-6:00/6:30 PM Compensation based on education/certification: $45-$60 per day
