Position: Long Term Substitute Teacher

Location: CAI Learning Academy, 3145 Hamilton Blvd. Bypass, Allentown, PA 18103

Employment Type: Temporary, Hourly (has potential to role into full-time position)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long Term Substitute Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on our students' educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality instruction to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

• Implement lesson plans left by the regular teacher and create engaging and effective lessons as needed.

• Manage classroom behavior and create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

• Assess student performance and provide feedback to help students achieve their academic goals.

• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff about student progress and any concerns.

• Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

• Follow school policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.

• Certification: Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in Elementary Education.

• Experience: Prior teaching experience at the elementary level is highly desirable.

• Skills:

• Strong knowledge of elementary concepts and teaching methods.

• Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.

• Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
