Job Description:

POSITION: Permanent Substitute Teacher (2024-2025 school year)

LOCATION: Putnam Elementary School

DESCRIPTION: A Permanent Substitute Teacher reports to the school daily to teach and supervise students in the event that their regular teacher is unable to lead class. Their duties include managing classroom behavior, quickly interpreting lesson plans and creating reports to inform the students' permanent teacher of their success.

PAY and BENEFITS: Daily pay rate is $160.00.

Individual coverage for health insurance is offered.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree preferred

CT Teaching Certificate preferred
