Job Description:

Building Substitute

Ana Grace Academy of the Arts Middle School is seeking a building substitute teacher to cover multiple academic subjects when needed. The candidate will provide comprehensive, high quality instruction in the school level classroom. The teacher will also be a part of multiple teams across the school. On the days the candidate does not need to cover class, he or she will be placed to support wherever is needed.

School Hours: 8:30 am - 3:45 pm

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities of the teacher include:

• Caring about students

• Being a great teammate

• Attending a daily duty

• Being a life-long learner

• Learning about units and lesson plans

• Providing instruction to students

• Participating in school-level data teams

• Participating in grade level meetings

• Participating in vertical team meetings

• Participating in student support meetings

• Facilitating a strong home/school connection

• Candidate must follow directions given by administration

• Candidate must also be familiar with Google Classroom.
