Substitute Teacher 2024/2025 School Year

All of the documents specified below must be attached to your application to be considered for employment. • Completed online application through edjoin.org

• Current valid California teaching credential or 30-day Substitute Teaching Permit.

• Copy of unofficial transcripts (BA/BS degree; copies of front and back)

• Copy of a negative Tuberculosis clearance (no more than 4 years old) - Resume

• Verification of Sub-Clearinghouse Live Scan through Ventura County Office of Education (VCOE).

If you do not have a copy of your Sub-Clearinghouse Live Scan receipt please attach a Word document with the date you completed the Sub-Clearinghouse Live Scan and our office will verify your clearance. PLEASE NOTE, THE CERTIFICATE OF CLEARANCE FROM CTC DOES NOT SATISFY THE SUB-CLEARINGHOUSE LIVE SCAN REQUIREMENT With the passage of SB 153, the Basic Skills Requirement is no longer required effective 7/1/24. This allows for a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education to serve as a demonstration of basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. • Other (Verification of "Clearing House" fingerprints through Ventura County Office of Education (VCOE))

• TB Screening Result (TB has to be within the last 4 years)
