Substitute School Custodian (Part-Time)

We're looking for a dedicated and talented Substitute School Custodian to become part of our Home Office Team.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• You'll be operating manual and power janitorial equipment

• You'll be organizing and taking inventory of all janitorial supplies

• You'll be occasionally lifting and carrying 50lbs or more

• You'll be bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing and reading or lifting overhead occasionally.

• You'll be standing or walking for 2-4 hours at a time

Salary

$18 per hour, not to exceed 25 hours per week

Qualifications

• You are on call Monday-Friday

• You preferably have 2+ years working in an urban or low-income setting and you understand how to get your students excited about learning.

• You are committed to living out our mission.

• Semifinalist candidates will be required to provide unofficial transcripts, evidence of certification/eligibility, and 3 professional references.

• Hired candidates are responsible for the following: official transcripts, criminal clearance (fingerprinting), and medical clearance (TB/Mantoux testing).
