Substitute - Nurse

Essential Functions Reports during an absence nurse. Performs first aid, medication and specialized medical treatments for the purpose of providing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured children.

Follows professional practices consistent with school and system policies Acts in a professional manner. Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned. Reports in a timely manner to the specified location.

Requirements RN or LPN Licensure. Additional requirements listed at https://www.walton.k12.ga.us/Substitutes.aspx Physical Requirements The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following require the following physical demands: significant lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Job may require exposure to outside weather conditions.

Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 50% walking, and 45% standing. Education/Training Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
